According to the Dallas Morning News Jessica Simpson will be the new spokesperson for Stampede Light Plus, made by the Dallas' Stampede Brewing Co.
The paper also reports that in addition to lending her pretty face to the beer's ads, she is taking a 15 percent stake in the company.
"She's the face of the brand now," Lawrence Schwartz, Stampede's president and chief executive said.
"As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people," Simpson said in a statement. "Yes, I work out and take care of myself, but I also like a cold beer once in a while."
